Recent Case Studies
This project involved redline mark-ups for 1,500 P&D layout drawings for ODL - part of The Wood Group, with the end client being BP in Turkey.
ODL sent a team of engineers to Turkey to survey the pipework, then redline markup the existing drawings. These were then sent to Outsource CAD each week to update with the .dwg files issued the following week to ODL based on an agreed schedule.
The project was completed both in Microstation and AutoCAD.
This project involved redrawing over 1,000 P&IDs for two oil rig platforms in the North Sea, Everest and Lomond for the Wood Group with end client being the BG Group,
We received the drawings in PDF format with redline changes and comments. The drawings were also completed by various companies over the years and therefore had no standards or consistency.
Outsource CAD produced a standards drawing template along with the client and updated each drawing to suit along with a QC document. The purpose of doing this was for their Health and Safety Manual.
